Today’s mainstream media is composed of several channels, with books and films taking up the majority. Some of the mediums are more respected than others. Some mediums, especially video games, have a negative stigma attached to them. Reading a great deal of books gives a person the appearance of being educated and smart. However, being knowledgeable and experienced with video games marks a person as being a reclusive nerd living in his mother’s basement and with poor social skills.

My goal for this blog is to challenge this stigma. While the focus will be on books and video games, I’ll be willing to review stories of other natures. After all, here on Literary Gamer the mediums doesn’t matter.
